No i would say, on an SLK I wouldn't be advertising the fact it was a Diesel.

Its not a bad plate for a taxi.

Yes Mine. Got V10 DFV and TRY 69 . Got a few others but these two I use.
Just waiting for V10 DFV to go on my SL500 just transferred it off my Cooper S.
It you put TRY 69 on your car the wife or girlfriend will never borrow it.

TRY 69 used to be on an old Austin A35? back in the late seventies it was in Hampshire.
