Well I sold one on here about a year ago,for I think £30 ,the problem with the one in that advert is it is a 1 just like I sold,this is has not been updated for the last three years,so fairly new phones will not connect though it.

Is that right Brian? I thought the MB 3000 was just an updated software version of the MB 1000 ?
Didn't realise the latest phones wouldn't connect.

Well I think our own experts at Command know more than me,I am sure that the Viseeo MBU 1000 only works with the nokia phone system,and as it has not been supported for some years will I think not be of use for the latest phones,the MBU 2000 is for cars with the UHI or MHI systems the MB2 replaced MBU 2000 in 2009 it has a new chipset which supports the address book from Nokia N/E phones.
If you have the build sheet for your car then the MBU 1000/MB3000 will work if you have 852 854 or 380 382 and MBU 2000 MB2/MB3/MB4 with option code 386 388,this whole area is a mine field,as you can see the MBU1000 is over 10 years old now and if I am right has had no firmware updates since 2012.

Worked fine with iphone 6S

I also have the cradle for uhi with a refurbished handset. Pop a payg sim in and works perfectly. Even displays sms in the head unit if you have comand.
