Anyone tried Uniroyal Rainsport 3s as yet ?

I need tyres for the S211. I'm giving it a good freshen up in all areas. Torque convertor fixed, full service, new top ball joints, it's driving brilliantly. Tbh, when I jump from the E 63 into this car, you never feel as if you've gone back to an old bucket. I really enjoy this car. Now , just time for new tyres. I see good reviews but I'd rather hear from you guys. I always buy contis or good year but fancied a change and they are very well priced.
So anyone tried them ?

245/40/18 97 y for £88 from Oponeo. Pretty good.

I have them fitted in 255/35-18 on the rear and 225/40-18 on front on my S204
Very very good in the wet and great in the dry.

My only concern is tyre wear. I was surprised that the rears wore so fast but its been a lonnnng time since I drove a rear wheel drive.
But the price you get them for isn't too upsetting.
And on the front I did have excessive wear on outside but hopefully have had that sorted by BLACK DIAMOND TYRE SERVICES in Yoker?Glasagow with there Hunter

All in all I am impressed with them so much so that I will using them on all my cars when needed.
And they do look nice

I have had three sets of RS3's, one set on my E39 M5 and two have been on the E55. They are exceptional in cold wet weather as they are a super soft compound. They are also good in the dry but here lies the rub. In the hotter dry weather the wear rate is super silly for anything rear wheel drive and with some power.

They are a good tyre and cheap as chips, but they wear fast. Im now on Super Sports, too early to say if they are better in performance terms or wear but Ive got my fingers crossed.
