Anyone use this service for rear view camera retrofit?

Hi
You need to make sure that (a) they install the *genuine* camera with the moving lines (assuming MY2014 onward car) (b) they update the data card at Mercedes so it doesn't get lost when MB next do a firmware update on your car and (c) they use ONLINE Star diagnosis to configure it so it is properly calibrated.

Its because of all those steps we have to do it in the workshop ..

ps. The car communications kit is not genuine, and looking at the picture it replaces a rear number plate light instead of having the new trim strip with the extra hole for the proper camera.

In any case the number plate lights on your car are LED so these camera conversions don't fit, they fit older cars with standard bulbs. I bought one for my C Class and ended up dismantling it so I could mount it elsewhere. These cameras cost about £12 on ebay and the rest of the wiring would be about £4. Given you've got a new car I'd suggest you go the OEM route.

It is much quicker to email him/them as they are very busy boys and it is hit and miss when they are on the forum. Go to their website for the number or email.
