Anyone with E class after remap ?

I noticed allot of guys on here asking about remaps and chip tuning..

I've had my w211 remaped and it's quick as hell now, totally changes the way the car drives!

If your thinking about going for an ECU remap then don't think twice go for it, you will never regret it BUT make sure you go to a known tuning company!

I went for www.west-tuning.com, they are great they will test the car before and after to see exactly how much bhp/torque you've gained from a remap!

I asked about this recently, but in honesty, just cannot see why you would need more than the standard 320 gives, mine goes like stink !!
(W211 Sport Estate.)

I'm already thinking that my Fuel & tyre costs are going to be more than I had budgeted for !!

I Have an E270 CDi 2004 with 140,000 miles running a map and a tuning box,so far so good as far as reliabilty goes,i mainly use it to taxi weekends so MPG is all important.Estimate my mpg(over standard) has improved around 10%.Map has been on over 2 years and 40000 miles (map +box over 6 months)with no issues.

Most importsnt thing dont forget to tell the Insurance you have had a remap or tuning box fitted or when you need it they wont pay out if it is not declared!

is it worth mapping E280 on a W-plate ? now I do something like 20mpg in city and 32mpg on the run.
