If I was able to do that, I wouldn't be asking if someone can get it from the number plate!

Seems that it is not possible.

Find Vin Number From Registration Plate -Chassi Number Check

If you want to find VIN number from registration plate, simply enter reg number in the search tab of CarDotCheck. It is easy to lookup the last 5 digits of the VIN for the concerned used vehicle.

The Datacard can provide 'delivery date', but not the actual manufacture date, you'll need to find the Oasis support for that.

It is possible. However, it is only available to those in the trade, who have provided this service to forum members before on many occasions.
