Are Merc bonnet Emblems universal fit?

As the title says really. Its a 'stick up' one from a W203 C class, will it fit all Mercs? (answer for selling purposes)

I believe the 203 bonnet star should fit all cars up to 2009
Certainly fits the 124,202,210,211 and 220 and any bonnet with a 44mm opening.

Think it depends on the size of the opening cut into your bonnet being 44mm

Check on the ebay listings for a 203 bonnet star
They should indicate all models it will fit.

Pretty sure that's a no-no, think the bonnet is double skinned under the shallow recess for the flat badge.

That's my feeling too; there's no hole that I can see (although it could be under the matting).
