They are replicas because even though the wheels have the AMG mark they were not made by AMG. (And they will not have the amg part number stamped in them). :thumb:

I do not understand your question. Are you asking if they are genuine AMG? Or are you asking if they are genuine Replica AMG as the ad states???

Due to the lax copyright rules in the far east & eastern europe, plenty of alloy wheel manufacturers are getting away with inferior reproductions of genuine wheels without the worry of prosecution from the original manufacturer/license holder.

Genuine wheels will have a mercedes number & tiny 3 point star on the back of the wheel along with the manufacturers name, eg Ronal. Plus genuine AMG wheels wouldnt corrode that quick or go for that cheap.

The point is the ad says they are "replica" so what is the point of this thread????

My Genuine mercedes wheels are rotten. And the one I replaced last year has gone around the bolt holes too.

I'm going aftermarket...

ive got a set like these wheels in the ebay ad, thought they were genuines...
