Are these the stock C63 discs?

The discs and pads all arrived, were the real deal and were fantastic. Installed in a couple of hours and feel brilliant. Definitely a bargain!!!

Yes my car is due for a Service A - which is £830.10 without additional items. The reason I say it’s a very expensive “oil change” is because when I read what is done on a Service A - it appears to be a oil and filter change and a look around the car. If I want the plugs doing too, the total cost is basically £1,000.

Please correct me if I’m mistaken with this, as I’d be happy if they were actually doing more than that for the money!

See here for what the Mercedes website tells me;

Key Features of Service A

Change engine oil and oil filter (not applicable for electric vehicles)
Check charging cable and vehicle socket for mechanical damage (Hybrid & Electric)
Check brake fluid level
Correct and note down tyre pressure
Check/correct spare tyre pressure (equipment specific)
Check TIREFIT tyre sealant (equipment specific)
Check first aid kit
Check luggage compartment illumination for proper operation
Check/correct windcreen washer fluid
Check lamps in the instrument cluster and interior illumination for proper operation
Check ex-factory driving aids (equipment specific)
Fill up or replace vial of perfume atomizer (equipment specific)
Fill up Ad®Blue tank (equipment specific, after consultation with customer)
Check coolant level
Check all visible parts in engine compartment for damage and leaks
Check visible area of auxiliary belt for wear (if applicable)
Check all visible parts of vehicle underside for damage and leaks
Check condition of steering and tie rods
Check condition of front axle and front axle ball joints
Check condition of propeller shaft and flex disks
Check condition of rear axle and rear axle ball joints
Check condition of suspension struts or shock absorbers and springs
Check tyres for damage and crack formation
I will be shocked if that price includes no extras, its not possible.

Am I misunderstanding the website then? It says what I have included in the service A and then has a drop down box of additional service items with prices next to them;

Replace brake fluid £114.94
Replace air filter element £78.36
Panoramic sliding roof: Clean and Lubricate guide mechanism £30.44
Replace spark plugs £274.87

I take this to mean these are the costs if I need these doing… but could it mean these are the individual costs of the components included in the £830.10?

Thanks!

Interesting thread is this, as I am due to replace the front discs and pads on the 63
Mercedes have quoted me circa £550
The weblink you supplied and your confirmation makes me inclined to migrate away from OEM pricing.
Which brake pads did you opt for (many to choose from)

Have you managed to get any miles to 'get a feel for them'.

As always, I don't want to venture down the 'buy cheap, pay twice' route - especially with brakes.

TIA
