I forget the cost of a transponder, but once it has been beamed up it can be bounced around the world for very little extra, with just a different sound track

I tried a couple of times to get connected, but nothing happened, the screen just displayed a Mercedes badge.

That is all I got. Hence my question: is it on Sky? like the Audi channel. But then I assume you have to pay Rupert.

Not necessarily so the satellites are owned by the Astra consortium

No, it's on the link www.mercedes-benz.tv ...if it's not working, your browser or cookies may be at fault. Richard and Judy aren't on there either.

Nothing wrong with my browser on any other sites. Just get a black page with MB logo on it.

You have to pay Rupert to have a SKY channel or be available in a Sky package surely? Like the Audi Channel or UK gold or whatever etc etc.

It does not have to be part of a package,it can go unencrypted, this service could also be uplinked from the USA. Murdoch does not own the transponders
