Looking for driver's armrest for W168. Slate grey, leather. This is for my UK car, so no worries about shipping it to the Bahamas

Still looking ... Just to clarify - this is for a facelift W168.
Would prefer a brand new one.

If someone can advise part number(s) I'd appreciate that.

I just saw a thread somewhere where someone had retrofitted the armrest, but now I can't find it. I'll keep it in mind if I see the thread again.

Not much use, I know....

Got some parts numbers and diagram:

I believe it is possible to fit the leather lid to any armrest. The lid may still be available new (at a price!).

The majority of the expense with this retro-fit is the armrest itself, obviously.

Just a thought, perhaps it may be easier to get a good used armrest and fit a new lid?

Chris

Thanks Chris, good advice - will look for a lid as a separate item.
TBH, I would take a used armrest too :) - I just can't find any :wallbash:
I have it in my A190 in Nassau and really miss it in this one here ... I guess I like things to be consistent - both cars even the same colour

There are usually a few armrests for sale on ebay.de, athough they seem to value them more highly!

got it now :)

Thanks to area51 suggestion, I now have a very elegant [brand new] armrest sourced directly from Germany, which I like much better than the OEM one in my other car! Fixing it did not require removal of seats etc and it does not obstruct the handbrake, unlike the MB one. Very pleased :bannana:
