Thanks, I think it will be Newbridge in the short term for service.

Going to get the W211 up on our newly installed 2 Post Lift this week and strip it down for a look.
Guessing it will be a recon on the TC that will be required.

Tells a story when customers feel it's better to install their own garage equipment and do the job themselves.

Failing that , if you don't mind going out of the dealer network , Merparts in Port Glasgow are very good , Paul & Stef both being MB master technicians .

I dealt with them , only for parts , when they were still on the go , but old Glen retired and sold up ; the premises were bought by a chain from the borders , no longer MB branded , although I understand many of the staff were kept on .

MB Edinburgh and Coldstream (part of eastern / western) were voted the top UK MB dealer 2015, and it shows, I have recently bought from them and they have been excellent to date. It is worth being aware that a number of the key staff moved from JRW to Newbridge around the time of the sale to Arnold Clark. I know the direct comparison as I bought some 6 or 7 cars from JRW over the years before their demise.
