Artico Leather / Dinamica Microfibre

Hi Guys!

Really need opinion and reviews on the Artico Leather / Dinamica Microfibre seats compared with normal leather.

Do they make the interior feel cheap?

I can't believe leather are standard on the E Class SE and an extra cost option for the AMG sport.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't look cheap, but it's not as luxurious.

Where it scores is that it keeps it's shape and appearance.

It was specified in my car which was £56K retail.

Having looked at cars with Artico and cars with leather I would definitely go with leather. It doesn't need as much care as people think as it is now produced by manufacturers to sustain years of abuse by the sun and backsides getting in and out. My mother put 70k on her C-class with grey leather and the interior still looked like new with no real wear on the usual areas - it hadn't even creased that much. It's also more appealing for resale.

Artico is just plastic rebranded by MB. It's a travisty that they do not offer it as standard for that price. It also confuses people as they often think they are buying a car with leather when it isn't.
