Guys, I need your help please!! :(
I've got an 1989 190E 2.5-16 Cosworth, Manual.
I've tried all sorts and still can't get to the bottom of it.... it's not helpful that it is something of an intermitant problem either!
At parking speeds forward and back the warning triangle lights up and at times the diff locks so I can here clunking. Often the light comes on and I don't get the clunking. The really odd thing is that the Warning triangle lights up even when in neutral if I rev the engine!!!????!??
Now I am confused!!
I've checked and replaced the ASD Relay, I've tested and examined the sensors in the front wheels and the one in the diff, they all return a signal and appear ok, the front two needed serious cleaning but the one in the diff was clean... the only difference I had noticed is that the sensor in the diff seems to be flat where as the one's in the front had more of a nipple on the end of the sensor.
I can't think of anything else to test or replace!!!!

Please can someone help me....

ps. there is another symptom with the ABS.... I can feel feedback through the pedal again at parking speeds and again if I rev it... ie. toe heel when in neutral!!?? I've checked and replaced the blade fuses for the ABS relay.

HELP ME PLEASE..............

warning light lighting up when engine revs up etc . system voltage problem/instability maybe. check battery is not on way out terminals and leads OK/ alternator output for voltage stability. Dodgy alternator rectifier pack voltage regulator?? Good auto electrician should be able to check this for little money. Just a possibility
