Ash Tray Replacement W203

Hello all,

I have a replacement ash tray for the C32. Anyone got any good tips to install it?

Open the old one
Get your fingers under the front edge of the wood or aluminium trim that goes round the gear lever and lever trim and pull hard. You will think that you have missed something but it is a tight fit.
You don't need to remove the gaiter as there is enough room.
Two clips hold the ashtray in - push them out the to one side (it is obvious when you see it. Pull the ashtray out and remove the lamp holder.
Reassemble in reverse order.
