Astra-cam belt or chain?

My mates Dad has a 2010 1.6 auto Astra and was wondering if it would have a cam chain or belt and at what interval/mileage should it be changed...any ideas guys?

Its going to have a timing belt, sorry no idea what the interval is.

Its a belt, all depends on driving style, just had a look and says 40k or 4 years, if it is a lot of short journeys, I would change @25-30k, I am sure it used to be a lot higher, VW/Audi dropped the belt change on the TT from 89k to 40k as a lot had been snapping due to low mileage/stop start use
