Asus Vivobook Screen Flicker Woes...

Hi All.

Got laptop issues...pink screen flicker when I move the screen, gradually got worse over time. Mr Google tells me common issue on this model Asus Vivobook (S200E) with the screen ribbon cable close to hinge causing potential cable damage....have put it into local PC repair, he informs me his suppliers cannot source the cable so he can not fix...maybe part of the screen/motherboard assembly? He tells me eBay offers variable dangerous quality levels of cable[emoji33]

Update:

Picked up machine from PC repair guy, flicker is much better, not perfect. I think he has adjusted cable as much as possible, will see how it goes...
