Well guys as promised, arrived back home last night after 33 days away, I picked the motor up this morning and wow......I'm trying to remember where all the controls are again, as I only had 3 days after I bought it to when I left it at the detailers....4 x wheels refurbished, all paint ceramic coated all leather treated carpets shampooed and treated and protected.....Oh and black badges fitted.......I'm still waiting for the retention certificate to come back so I can put my PP on.....I have set the tyre pressures to 41psi front and 38psi rear.....Is this what the majority of you run at ?
As promised a few pictures.....iphone only though.......Also can anybody give me a rough estimate on a service A

take me to the nearest bank of america

Service A from a dealer is typically around £250. Could be less if you supply your own oil (229.5). Could be up to £300-£350 if you happen to stumble on an expensive dealer. And it does not include any additional scheduled items that may be needed (filters, spark plugs, ATF, etc) or wear items (discs & pads).

Okay mate, thanks Car has done 36k it had a health check 5k ago and was all good...

Excuse me, but why are you Wasting Time Tapping on a Keyboard, when you should either be Polishing your New Purchase Or Ensuring the Planets Demise by Wasting Petrol Hooning along the Nearest Fast Road?  ;):)

😂😂😌😌

I don’t have a C63 , but those front tyre pressures are surprisingly high ! And how unusual to run the fronts harder than the rears .

Mid 30s not unusual for most cars on a speed/load operation on rears , but usually fronts are just a bit less than rears .

Are those the recommended pressures in the book or on the petrol flap ?

Blimey, just called Mercedes Norwich who quoted me £396 for a service A.....Also said it was a fixed price and wouldn't negotiate!

Are you sure its not the other way round? Usually the back is higher pressure, it is in the 204

Many dealers will let you supply your own oil , which you can buy cheaper than they charge you for it .

Opie oils , even Amazon or Costco can be good places to look , but make sure it is the correct spec oil .

You are free to phone other dealers to see if they will beat that price .

Surely there's an Indie somewhere in Norfolk who would do an equal or better job for much less (unless you are tied because of an extended warranty) ??
🤔

It depends on the load on the axle. That 6.2 engine must weigh a fair bit.... even if the block is made of alloy.

1. What's the breakdown? What is included? Just Service A, or also other items (filters, brake fluid, etc)?

2. Get quotes from other dealers. You can get all these quotes online in minutes.

3. Consider supplying your own oil.

4. Consider using an independent specialist.

I'm waiting for Auto Technic to call me back they have great reviews and can confirm it won't effect the Mercedes warranty

I've heard back from Auto Technic and it was just over £100 cheaper, they explained that it wouldn't effect the mechanical side of the warranty but would void the breakdown recovery part of the warranty :(

This is correct.

A service done at a dealer will get you 12 months Mobilo European roadside recovery cover at no additional cost:

(That said... some members here said that their Mobilo cover was renewed for further 12 months after a service at a non-franchised specialist, who updated the MB Digital Service Book).

I'm gonna spend more time tomorrow calling round.....but even if I can save £50 by driving 100 miles round journey it's not cost effective is it
