ATF Change Dipstick

Hi All,

I have a slight leak from the gearbox, I got my gf's cousin who works for Land Rover as a mechanic to look at it and he said the gasket is perished and needs replacing.

He's got the oil and gasket but is struggling to find the special dipstick you need - he's tried a few Merc dealerships who haven't been much help apparently.

I have been looking and have found this:

Is this the correct one I need or if not can somebody please advise which one to buy?

Thats the correct one it does a lot of mercedes but the instructions are there, he dropped the price just after i paid £10.00 still cheap though.

Not sure about the bad feedback on the original one I posted, don't want anything falling off in my gearbox!!

OOH dipstick price wars!

I have one from m7hec on ebay and noting is going to fall off this puppy, its metal crimps onto wire rope.

thats the same one I have, if all else fails you can use it as a towing cable LOL
