is there a recommended AT fluid that say GSF sell thats as good as.
Also what's the score with no dipstick and this locking pin? Where can you get them?

i used MB atf, and i bought a dip stick but you can easily make one, you just need to ensure the dipped level is between 5.3cm and 6.4cm. deep when the box is hot

i managed to get what was left of my pin back in to hold in place, but i think they are £1 from mb

the springy bit doesnt matter as long as you can reach the bottom of the box, just use 3 to 4ft length of curtain wire, push in the tube until you feel it hit the bottom and measure how deep the oil is

OH, I seee. otherway round to most cars. I like it.
So doesnt matter how long it needs to be. could just measure the wet bit for now.
Could you tell me whether the other is the engine dipstick. Pulled it out and its like 2 inches long and pink.

 THE DIPSTICK !
