Not as good as previous years, but still a good saving. £7 extra if you want antibacterial clean (recommended).

You need to purchase the offer via Groupon and then book into your local ATS, mentioning that you have a voucher. Voucher valid until 30th September 2020

Brilliant deal. Used it in the past with no issues whatsoever. No one else comes close in terms of money for a re-gas.

Great just booked for the SLK , doubt it has been done since it was new in 2012

Had my 129 done last week, my 211 is booked in for Monday

Kwik Fit traditionally have a very similar deal , with no charge if they can’t reduce your temperature by 10 deg , and money back if it fails within 30 days . Haven’t seen the offer this year , perhaps due to downturn in business,

Surely that can’t be correct - reduce the temperature by 10 degrees?

That was what they advertised: if they could not reduce the temperature of cold air from your vents by 10 degrees, you didn’t pay .

The one get out was if the ambient temperature was low , it was at the discretion of the manager .

I do seem to recall that or something to that effect but I’ve not seen that in years (at least it’s not widely advertised) furthermore I think they cost more.

Lastly, think I’d always opt for ATS over Kwikfit

Most working air con systems give out cool air in single figures (degrees Celsius) so unless there’s something I’m missing here I can’t see them getting the temperature ten degrees lower via a service.

If you’re comparing a non-functioning aircon system to a working one, well that’s obvious :)

I last remember it about two years ago , I think latterly £40 but at one point £30

I don’t think it much matters where you go , they all use the same or very similar machines , which will all do the job much the same , unless faulty .

Kwik Fit have already had the offer earlier in the year. I had mine MOT'd and re-gassed in February. Can't remember what it cost but it was very cheap.

Maybe the small print says '10 degrees C lower than outside ambient'🤷‍♂️ ...or maybe they talk Fahrenheit ! :p

They claim 10 percent, not 10 degrees - sounds a bit more realistic. :)

If we can’t improve the coolest vent temperature in your vehicle by more than 10% when measured in degrees Celsius - then we will happily refund you the price of your recharge.

I use a local mobile a/c specialist who only charges £49.00 for a/c service and re-gas so much better value than the ATS deal...

That is more than ATS charge , even with the optional antibacterial cleaning .

Thanks for the heads- up, Bob6600. Booked in my S211 for next Thursday. I've been meaning to have my A/C re-gassed for a long time - I've had it nearly 13 years without having it done until now.
