Audi A5 is the least reliable new car

Don't like the look of the A5 either. Not the coupe anyway. The A5 sportback however looks good to me.

I see there are no Mercedes in either the top or bottom 10:dk:
I have been toying with the idea of a Jaguar XF, but my wife is not that keen having driven one and found it 'stiff' and now I have just spotted it third from bottom of this list!
Better the devil you know.... but in truth I can find nothing to complain about with my S Class.
I guess it's just I havn't bought a car for over a year:eek: and I'm getting withdrawl symptoms:o

I'm sure you can take these reliability studies with a pinch of salt.

My car has only ever let me down once when the starter motor cable snapped, so that's one day out of action with nearly 11 years of assumed "faultless" service. Tons of stuff has broken, corroded, worn out or fallen off but it's still *reliable* :)

Noooo these studies will tell us your car is unreliable.

Its indicative of what you might expect the car to peform. Wasn't audi's TT on this list a few years back?

How come, the A4 isn't on the list, same engines, transmissions, chassis - same car + some doors and it isn't languishing with the A5. The Jaguar, land rover entries do not suprise me one bit, but a VAG product does.

The Audi A5 & Jag XF are both new models which I suspect is responsible for their low score, teething problems etc.
