Hi everyone. I have a factory fitted Audio 20 in my 2013 Vito, and I'm at my wits end with it.
So many letdowns.....
Poor volume when trying to use handsfree bluetooth conversations.... tried increasing volume, but utter pants!.
No AUX outlet, even when I'm told in the owners handbook there's an outlet in the glove compartment.
My question is, can the stereo be worked on internally, to do something with the electronics?...

Welcome.

The aux input in the glove compartment is the Universal Media Interface which was optional.

Can't help with your other queries, but possibly a firmware update might help? It's a job for the dealer though (or specialist with STAR).

Thanks for that. Shame that merecedes stereos underperform considering the brand they are.

Is there a way to increase the Bluetooth handsfree via the secret menu?.
I’ve come across a few online chats about a secret menu.

If it helps the volume for bluetooth calls no my 2017 C300h is the same.

Maybe try increasing the volume on the phone.

Tried that... lol.
Gone through every possible scenario on my phone’s setup. Thinking about an aftermarket one. Searched out eBay for a possible replacement from a sprinter, but seems it’s a common fault that the fitted stereos aren’t great.

Be sure it has octo core, 4gig of ram, and that should come with a 32 gig internal storage.

Lower spec can be frustrating.

The 9" screens in the Vi' have been popular here. I've been happy with mine. GLK seems happy with his, same unit different motor.
