Audio 20 unit - Canbus High and Canbus Low pinouts

2008 CLK, basic Audio 20 from factory, no MOST. I'm installing a Blaupunkt head unit. Am I right in thinking that the Audio 20 Canbus High and Canbus Low pinouts are the steering wheel volume control connections, does anybody know? .

NTG 2: CAN High is pin 11 in the main quadlock, CAN low is pin 9 in the same block. Often the wires are black and black with a white trace. Cant guarantee that as sometimes they are brown and brown with a red trace!

Thank you very much indeed. Mine doesn't have COMAND, but I can identify wire colours and Quadlock pins, and the pinout diagram shows the same as NTG2. The wires on the Blaupunkt are labelled Steering Control 1 (brown) and Steering Control 2 (brown with a black trace)! I reckon I can work it out from here, though (he said hopefully); worst case, up arrow is volume down and vice versa...

There's also a black wire on the Blaupunkt, labelled Steering Control Ground; I'll see if it works without that, and if not, earth the wire and look out for a smell of burning...
