Hi,does anyone know where the amp is on cl500 216, got intermittent radio and cd ,just hoping it's a loose connection ,thanks

In the boot on the left. Unlikely to be a loose connection. If you have HK its expensive.

Not necessarily - it needs proper diagnosis. The amp contains the tuner too. But if anything stops the data flow between the COMAND and the amp (like some other optical component failing) you'll can get similar symptoms.

Hi Richard thanks for replying, looks like I'll to find someone around Stockport who can have a look for me. I don't understand how it's gone wrong as I hardly ever us the car at the moment due to work commitments ,never mind .When I get it sorted I'll post what it was for others to look at.
