Audio APS 50 - Comand/ NTG 2.5

Hey guys

Im the proud owner of a E220 cdi 2007 Facelifted (w211) with an APS50 fitted.
I want to change my APS50, so my question is:

Can I fit a Comand APS? - What does it take?
Can I fit a Comand NTG 2.5? - What does it take?

Witch of the two would be the most easiest fit.

If searched the forum for old topics, but havent seem to find anything specific

From the second link above the NTG 2.5 will be the easiest to fit.

I have decided on installing a Comand NTG 2.5
Mercedes W 211 W 219 E CLS Sat Nav COMAND NTG 2.5 on eBay (end time 13-Dec-09 17:39:07 GMT)

What cable harness will i need to purchase in order to make this work on my car?
Will my steering buttons still work?
Do i need to have STAR after install?

For retrofit parts see: http://www.comandonline.co.uk/home.php?cat=282 but you should contact Alfie or Richard on this forum to check the above exactly what you need as they are the retrofit gurus. The steering controls will work and you will need STAR to program the cluster. Alfie or Richard can do that for you too.

Regarding the ebay sellers auction you have linked too I can recommend him. I got my unit off him and had it installed by Alfie yesterday. Unit looked practically brand new with the plastic protection still on the screen.

No it needs to be a unit for the E class or CLS.
