audio off

I have a S320 Cdi W221 , 2007, my radio suddenly started working, also CD player works, but my audio setting shows audio off, I cannot seem to get it turned on, any solutions please, and thanks in advance

It could be anything malfunctioning on the optic fibre ring: Radio, Amplifier, TV, Comand Unit. Best way is to unplug each device at a time and see when sound comes out from the speakers. Amplifier in those models is the usual culprit but it could be anything. In my case it was the DAB radios amplifier and I had to get it diagnosed by a pro

I haven't got a clue - sounds like a tricky one, but I'd start with the fusebox - check all the fuses are ok (there must be a lot) and then take the fuses out one by one to see if anything changes. Good luck, I suspect you'll need it!

Thank you both for the info, I might well have to get it read on a STAR machine, and the fuses I will definitely check
