Just a quick question..
I have recently been loosing drive once in a while whilst on slow sharp corners. Any ideas???
Im booked in for a fluid ,gasket and filler change later this month.
Any help appreciated :)

Atf fluid could be low? Could be mounts, engine and gearbox mounts.

When you say looses drive, does it return to normal straight away after you leave the corner and back on the straight?

i had a very similar issue when i had a 1999 W208 320CLK. I got the gearbox oil changed and the fault never occurred again in my ownership, so well worth trying before investigating further.

You have low atf level I suspect. I would not drive it really.

Your car probably has a leak so this will need to be fixed too.

Yes it seems to return to normal after corner.

It sounds like you have low atf fluid, and when you're turning the corner all the fluid in the box moves away from where it should be, which would be fine if you had the right level of fluid in there.

Had the same problem, loss of drive, when going up hill. Changed oil and filter, been OK for the last 18 months.

Thanks for the input..another thing sometimes when driving i get a series of audible bleeps come from the dash? I cant see any change on the display etc is this connected?

Def get the atf fluid, filter & gasket changed(should be done at 60,000 from memory?),clk320amg kompressor?(didn't know they made one)

All back from the specialist...turns out is a plate inside the gearbox with speed sensors malfunctioning.
