Yes the Auto Express Driver Power Survey for 2014 is out.
with the Skoda Yeti winning again.
Best cars to own in 2014 | Auto Express

However if you switch to the reliability section the picture changes with several Hybrid:crazy: vehicles featuring at the top. e.g the Toyota Prius. But ignoring the inherent bias of such surveys and the "holier than thou" hatred such vehicles appear to engender. Could it be that coupling an internal combustion engine to an electric generator/motor type of powertrain is inherently longer lasting/ more reliable than a conventionally engineered car? After all if its good enough for railways submarines and ships round the world even FORMULA 1  maybe its the future. Maximum torque at Zero RPM might not be all bad. :dk:

Interesting thought. By the way, the Yeti section on the Skoda forum have been running a campaign for months to get people to vote on the Auto Express poll. They are v well organised.

Very true. But at least they can rest assured that they own the best car ;)

Well one with better residuals based on an albeit artificially inflated reputation , so perhaps not too stupid after all.;)

I must admit that I have been very impressed by the Yeti that we own. Would certainly agree with the survey results!
