auto oil change

my 2007 220cdi w211 is approaching 80k, the last auto gearbox oil change was at 40k. Do I need to arrange another oil change, the gear change is fine. If so do I ask for a drain off or is it sucked like the engine oil?

Have the transmission sump pan removed & change the oil & the oil filter in there should cost around £155.00 at your local automatic transmission specialists

My 1999 E320 (purchased 2 months ago)... auto trans... how do i change fluid, in fact how do I check the fluid? the dip stick pipe is blanked off with a plastic cap, with some type of lock device in it..

To change the oil remove the sump pan 6x 30 torx headed bolts & replace the filter inside & refit the dipstick you will need to buy one from merc or maybe ebay when checking the oil level on the transmission the engine must be running if you require anymore info let me know.

You need a dipstick for a 722.6 gearbox.
