Auto park not working

C250 W204 auto park cancelling its self out, I get the white arrow by the blue P, select reverse then confirm by pressing ok and proceed to reverse but a message keeps coming up saying auto park cancelled or words to that effect, any ideas please??

Only just purchased the car from a private dealer

The W204 has parking guidance only, not active psrk assist.

It isn't part of the recent issue relating to EU regulations re active driver aids and autonomous driving etc.

Do you get the image of the steering wheel with the arrow showing you in which direction to turn it and how far? Or does it not get to that point?

I understand now, it only has parking guidance not park assist thanks guys.
