Hi everyone, does anyone have any idea how I change scale on Autocad??

I draw floorplans on Autocad LT (2008), and taught myself, so only know the basics. It has always been set to print off on A1 size paper in 50:1, I now need to change a drawn plan to 100:1, to print off on the same paper.

Anyone any ideas?

Many thanks in advance

Dave :)

No idea on autocad - sorry.

But in case you've not seen it, have you tried google sketchup? This is supposed to be simple drag and drop modelling in 2D which will then self construct a 3D image and let you do walkthroughs and view from different perspectives etc after.

A friend of mine recently did his entire house rebuild using this tool. Google SketchUp

Do you work in model space or paper space?

I design floorplans for shops (we do shopfitting), and a client wants to submit our plans to the local council for a liquor licence application. They are happy with the plans, but our scale is 50:1 and they insist it must be in 100:1 (quite why they want it half the size is anybodies guess ). Hence I have to try and re-size the existing plan somehow.

Cheers

Do you want to email it to me and i will have a look as there are several ways of doing it, once i have seen it, I can tell you how to do it in future
