Hello,
I rarely use garages, as I try to do as much as I can myself, a, because it's my hobby and b, because I have found it hard to find a good garage in recent years.
My experience with Autospec Bristol has left me with renewed enthusiasm for Garage services on the whole. My W124 300TE needed both front springs replacing, and after deciding that I could not do the job myself, without purchasing an expensive spring compressor, I had Autospec undertake the job. Because the car was undrivable, they arranged for it to be collected and completed the workj for the quoted price, despite it being tricky, due to the springs precarious position.
I went to pick the car up today. They had a selection of Mercedes in from all ages, including a couple of R107's, a W203, a few W124's and an R129 that I spied at the end of the workshop.
Genuinely enthusiastic about all things benz, I cannot recommend them highly enough for any of our Bristol based members.
