Hi Guys

first time post so forgive me -

I have a C200 59 plate with comand and 6 cd changer.

It has AUX capability although the AUX cable in the glovebox has never been installed - just got a little rubber plate over the hole - can anyone advise me on what part I require?

also I am a bit bummed that I cant use BT Audio, is there a way of upgrading firmware that would give me the functionality?

also I have a cradle in the arm rest - what is the point of this if I already have Bluetooth telephone built into the comand unit?

A lot of questions I know - thank you for reading.

Nick

cradle is for phone only. The BT in the head unit is for a headset only - you will not be able to pair your phone. You will need a viseeo unit or a HFP 'puck' - you can also and old (6310/6230) handset and the correct cable. There is no way to stream music via this interface.

The aux cable can be retrofitted - try a search, but tbh, volume levels are low, and it can be a bit of a faff (I have a BT unit with a 3.5mm jack that saves a trailing lead and boosts the volume.

There ARE other options available but they can be pricey - see Mercedes Retrofit Specialist - Comand.co.uk

Thanks mate that's what I thought. Never mind I will just have to upload music onto the thing.
