AUX in Engineering mode

After a couple of You Tube videos I entered the engineering mode on my NTG 4.5 and activated the AUX ON mode.
Then found that the media interface in glove box was not working.
So went back in Engineering mode and deactivated the AUX setting. Media Interface still not working

Any help ideas greatly appreciated.
