What can be connected to the Aux input on the stereo?

I'm thinking MP3 Player - but would it be fully controllable through the steering wheel controls etc?

Sorry for dumb questions but don't want to shell out £300 for an MP3 to plug in only to find I need to reach into the glove compartment to change tracks!!??

What sort of connector is it?

thanks

Andy

'Fraid you're knackered Andy - Aux-in is audio only, no control or anything else. I put an extra aux-in input in my central compartment and have an iPod in there, but to change tracks, you have got to do it on the iPod - same with any other MP3 player.

There are some head units that can control the iPod and some adapters (from the likes of Dension) that can interface using the CD interface, but aux-in is audio only :( .
