Aux lead for Comand part number help

Hi all... I need a little help again. I'm getting my parts list together ready to fit comand. I have everything now apart from one small part.

I used mercupgrades.com for all my part numbers but one appears to be wrong.

I ordered the plug for the aux loom as shown here Part no A037 545 06 28



and the pins for that should be A035 545 96 28

but this arrived...



Can anyone tell me where I have gone wrong.

I understand I can just cut the wires and link them directly into the C connector but now that I have the plug I may as well get the pins.

Hi Locky,

Think this is the part you need (A210 440 50 05):

If you cut, the connections are:

C2/04 : AuxIn Right : Yellow
C2/05 : AuxIn Right GND : Brown
C2/13 : AuxIn Left : Black
C2/14 : AuxIn Left GND : Shield

EDIT: Re-reading it I think you already have the loom, and just need the adapter plug?

Thats (sadly) because when I wrote the document, the electronics parts catalogue must have been wrong. I went and checked this out for you today, and apparently the pins are actually
A035 545 73 28 (0.5->1.0mm2 cable)

Thanks Richard thats a great help. I will order the pins today. The other plug that came was only a few pennies so all is well.

I did think about cutting the wires flyer but I thought that if I ever want to remove the glove box again it might be handy to have the plug there.
