Hi All

Just purchased my e350 last night :bannana:.

I am trying to locate the aux lead socket. Is there a special lead that i require to attach this to the glove compartment?

In the options it has AUX option in the radio menu.

Thanks from the newbie.

The Aux lead is a simple and inexpensive male to male 3.5mm or headphone jack lead; the same as your phone or iPod, available from Ebay, Maplins, almost anywhere. The socket, if fitted, will be either in the glove box (normally) or possibly the centre console. Being small, the socket can be difficult to spot. Look right side, upper rear corner area of the glovebox…there may be small black plastic surround/facia giving a clue.

Welcome aboard.

Edit: Here is a link to a site where you can download free owners manuals in case you weren't supplied with one.

Thank you, I've got feeling mine doesn't have an aux lead.

Spoke to Mercedes, apparently these 3 lead connections kits, which plugs into the glove compartment. Leads are for aux, usb and iPod. I have manage to obtain this lead on eBay for £15.00
