B180 Auto Reversing Camera Image Fuzzy and Not Showing Complete View

My B180 which is just over a year old has developed a problem with the reversing camera. The view from the camera default is a circled view, like a tunnel, with the outer edges blurred black. This makes tight reversing difficult as I can't see the outer edges especially when reversing into my garage.

Anyone got any suggestions please??

Have you tried cleaning the camera lens all the way to the edges? Obvious but sometimes the obvious is overlooked.

Have you changed the view in the camera displays? If you select reverse so the camera comes on, you should be able to scroll with your track wheel/touchpad to the edge of the display and select the view you want from the camera, and it should remember your choice until you change it. It might even have an option on the display to do it.

I know in the 205 C class it was possible to knock the rotary wheel whilst in reverse and the image would cycle through the different views from the camera.

Hi, thanks for replies.I have cleaned the lens and as far as I can tell there is no manual settings.

Attached is the default view I am getting. A bit fuzzy I'm afraid but you can get the general idea. The view before was always full screen.

Looks to me that you have Selected that View, try Selecting the one to the the Right with the Full Rear View!

Then I would suggest it's the Lens that is the Problem, I have never attempted to Remove it, but have a look to see if it's possible!

If the car is just over a year old then this should be covered under warranty.
