Hi guys
Thinking of bidding on one of these cars at the auction in manchester the first reg is for 2004 facelift one with the 200 mph speedo in silver 10 owners with FMBSH 77000 miles on the clock
The second one is for 2003 prefacelift black 6 owners no SH 99000 miles on the clock
Just wondering if the previous owners are registered here on the forum and can share a bit of info please
And what do you guys think about these cars?
Thanks

Out the 2 I'd be buying the 2004 car, *sounds* like a better car.

Number of owners should not be an issue 10 people have treated it like a new car!

Tony.

TEN owners? I wouldn't....

An E55 is a pretty desirable car. Why did nine owners in ten years get shot of it?

What comeback do you have if the service history is bogus and the mileage has been 'corrected'?

Ya gotta ask yourself; do ya feel lucky?

I buy from auctions every day of the week but something like an E55 is best bought after a proper check...

+1 to this, I'd like to know where the car came in from, has it been put in by the current owner or is it a trade in from a main dealer etc...

I wouldn't necessarily be concerned about 10 owners although it's quite a lot (given it's only 10 years old). I'd also be suspicious of the history - you mentioned Full MB history, would be interesting to see when it was last serviced and how many services it's had.

FSH means different things to many people.
