b200
Ok, brought a B200 diesel auto, sports model, 2012 plate. I had the previous B200 on a 2009 which was like asthmatic three legged dog, so its was not quick. The new B200 isn't that bad, no hot hatch mind you, but has some poke. I read about K&N filters that you can fit yourself and the ECU is not required to be re-programmed...but...read some issue with the Maf sensor and oil getting onto it. Just wanted to know if this was right? should I be worried? thanks

That is true about K&Ns
I'd get BMC, I have a set on the SLK55 and had the previously on my C55 & C32 with no issues.

Speak to Olly, BlackC55 he's a BMC agent, I think.

There's a lot said about K&N filters, never had a problem myself. I think it's mostly when people over oiling them when cleaning. They won't make any difference to the performance.

Cheers will take a look at BMC.

Wow. What's the point if the performance won't improve any? Why change them over?

Because they are life time filters

The best bang on buck you can do to your diesal is get a remap :thumb:
