I have just bought my wife a B200CDI but once the engine is warm it will not rev past 2500 RPM and forces gear change but does not have any accelerator power at all. I unplugged the MAF sensory plug but this did not make any difference.
It will rev over 2500 until the engine is running warm.

Sounds like it is going into limp mode. The best thing to do would be to get the car on a diagnostic machine. That would take out the guess work.

Sounds as if your car is going into safe =[LIMP HOME] mode to protect something mechanical. You don't tell us the age of the car or its VIN NUMBER but if its an older B CLASS model with a CVT auto-transmission thats where my money would go?

Hi it is a 2009 and the Vin is WDD2452082J493247. I have had a mechanic test it and he had the following codes 2133 2359 2355. On the drives it gets up to temp and revs up o er 4000 RPM but once it is being driven then it will stick at 2500/3000 RPM

It is a 2009 manual box but I am now fmvetting the following faults 2133 2359 2355

Those codes point to a lack of boost pressure or a excessive boost pressure. EGR vales are common to fail on your car. It needs better diagnosis than just the fault codes really.

Something similar happened on my wife's A180cdi a while back. Had the codes reset a few times but came back after a few weeks. Took it in to a local specialist who replaced a vacuum valve - £40. Thankfully not the DPF.
