baby Seat Transponders?

Need some advice please, I have picked up a cheap second hand Mercedes baby seat and would like to know if I can remove the transponders from it? so I can use any baby/child seat to deactivate the airbag.

interesting idea... keep us up to date.. .im sure it will just be a chip somewhere in the seat.

Think this will work as I'm sure I have seen just the transpoders for sale on their own for this reason.
