Back again after a long absence

It's been about 5 years since I've been on here and my login still works :bannana:

I sold my W140 S500 back then and bought a Range Rover which I've still got. I've got a hankering now for another Mercedes and I'm looking at W124 or W140 coupes for about £2k. I'll be in the market with the cash at end of Feb / beginning of March.

I'm seeing a 300-24v 300CE's for sale as well as 220 and 320CE's, is there much difference in the older 3 litre motor to newer 320?

The W140's I'm interested in are the 500 CL model, they seem a better buy than a 420 and not as thirsty as a 600

By the way, is Ian Walker and Kinky still on the forum?
