Hi all, just logged back in after a few years away, had to sell my last C class but just bought another, 2009 C200 Kompressor sport. love it but need to give the auto box a service as its not as smooth as it should be !!!!

What mileage is on the old girl buddy ?

With the M271 engine , check the electrical connections to the two round cam magnets on the top front of the engine don’t have oil in them .

Buy a dipstick and check the gearbox oil level first .

74,000 miles, will check the connections cheers. already got the dipstick and level is good.

Did you check the gearbox ATF level after a 30 minute drive (it has to be hot ) with the engine running and gearbox in P ?74,000 miles, will check the connections cheers. already got the dipstick and level is good.
