Couldn't resist it...

I'm 90% certain that I'll be doing the '55 conversion.

Nice, what engine has it now?

I bought this yesterday with a vague plan to put a V8 of some sort in it...

:D

It's a C43.

What engine is in yours? That looks like a C36 bodykit.

Fully AMG styling kit inc alloys, bodykit and wheels. Mated to a fine 2.2 petrol engine

That looks exactly like my neighbours old one , Bornite right ?

I wanted to buy it off him until he 'fessed up that it was a 220

Is it on an 'N' plate ?

I would have looked into a turbo or SC instead of a V8 convertion

On the other hand,a 202 with a Chevy engine :D

I'm pretty sure that a pre-facelift W202 can't take a V8, I contemplated putting one in the C36 but was told the engine bay was different.

Not looked into the options yet. I'm thinking a Nissan Skyline straight 6 turbo should squeeze in. All pie in the sky at the moment though..

If you could squeeze that Skyline straight 6 big turbo in there that would be one hell of a car, would need a manual box though as the MB box married to that engine would be sh*te. If it is an auto box depending on variant you might want to check what torque it can handle if you go that route

That engine is the size of a house !!

Had my fair share of those, The choice of all F1 Stock Car drivers.
A fantastic performer good for about 850 bhp and 700 lb/ft torque

Congrats is this the high mile 43 that was on autotrader ?

Its nice...

But would you have not been happier having had the C32 to go for a C55? saw a lovely estate the other day. Best of both worlds then.

The trim etc is a little more modern and what you have now?

or even convert your C32 to a C55 ?
