Nice what kind of waiting time is there for a map on mine? Having a exhaust fitted on the 3rd of August and would like to get to you shortly after

That's some crazy power to be had from a remap. The increase in tourqe is mental. Can you post a picture of the graph up. Would be good to see the curve and how smooth and aggressive it ks

Crazy Figures on these 5.5 bi-turbos! 628Bhp 598lbs torque Standard, before a remap!!! Great upgrade for the 55k owners in the future.

Do the 5.5 biturbo engines normally make that much more than stick figures as standard?

The E63 I loaned for a couple of weeks was certainly fast but not as fast as these figures suggest. Is the car on this dyno an E63S?

Jules

I'd like to test drive a standard E63S 5.5 bi turbo. To see how it compares to a modded 55.

Jim,

Not sure about the E63S but the E63 is quite a bit slower than my 77mm 55k. I did a few timed runs and it's a decent gap. I just want to be sure that if I do buy a biturbo, that it offers a decent performance hike once remapped.

That's interesting. I'd obviously want the same thing in an upgrade myself. The Modding potential with just a re-map is great with that bi-turbo engine. I was thinking a standard E63S with a healthy standard output would feel in the same ball park as mine. Goes without saying that the two are completely different animals, power aside, i would be interested how the two felt early in the rev range.

Hi all, it's my car. I will post the graphs a bit later but I can tell you is that the car feels and delivers the power completely different. It's so much more exciting and lightning quick. Previously the e63 didn't impress me all that much if I'm honest. Let me tell you now, right from the minute you start going right through every gear and the Rev range it feels like a supercar, (yes I've driven a fair few)

I'll get the graph up later as that really tells you all you need to see.

So it started as a standard E63, a non S version I mean.

I'm new to the merc world, does the e63 come out of the factory with over 600bhp?

Yes mate that's a non S and 600 from factory (hand built engines often produce more than quoted numbers) so I'm reliably informed.

Think I've found the replacement for the w204 c63 when I decide to let it go. Other than the mapping have you had any other modifications carried out to make that extra power

Nothing mate, just an xpipe to make it sound louder. That's it no performance upgrades at all.

Yours has produced a higher output than an E63S at stage one, just looking at a red E63s now on the dyno- stage 1 704.04hp/850.99tq // standard was 623.65hp/646.88tq. This was a 2014 car

I'll take that :)

Having studied the dyno map posted, I can imagine the difference in performance being quite radical. The extra area under each curve is amazing.

time for a dyno run I think! ;)
