Back to Mercedes after almost 9 years away

Hi all.

Back to Mercedes after almost 9 years away with a gorgeous CLS 320, black on black. It's 2008 model and a beauty to drive.

Well I've had it a week and so far the list of things gone wrong are.

1. Broken front road spring
2. Shredded front passenger window regulator.

Thankfully I'm reasonable and appreciate both a kinda wear and tear on a car approaching 10 years old.

I have some pics of the window regulator and it's truly chewed up the metal cable. I've not been in the forum for a few years so once I've remembered how to post pics of the shredded unit will do.

It's is however good to be back..

Window Reg's are common on these , as far as coil springs, could go on any car.

Cheers. Yeah google showed me as much on the window regulator. Shame as it was Friday lunch time and needed it fixed so ended up buying from local MB dealer. Wasn't too bad. .

Yeah, spring could happen anytime. Too many speed bumps etc around my way too which never help.

All part of car ownership though.

Welcome back as said before lovely car to rekindle your love affair. Bought my C320 2 months ago and my nearside front coil just snapped yesterday. Still the old girl is 16 no.
