Secondly why is the whole advert in lower case? Okay, granted it is better that writing it all in UPPER CASE but the correct usage of capitalisation would be useful too.

I rather like the orange and blue -- beats silver/charcoal to me.
As to spelling and grammer. I'm afraid the poster was probably like me, a product of a 1970s comprehensive school education. Capital letters and full stops I can do, but I'm a little bit hazy about commas. As for colons or semi-colons, well what wrong with a good old -- (which is not actually punctuation)
The only upside is most people seem to have even less understanding of grammer and punctuation than I do.
