They weren’t my words andy I asked myself exactly the same question as your post and googled. I asked myself the same question again when i read it.
When engines are dynode they don’t have the full system on obviously they just exit through the manifolds but I can sort of see the logic maybe more so on a cross plane crank.

Maybe a question to ask on the Affalterbach back trip I’m hoping to do later in the year

Very interesting video, thanks for finding that one. So on their test engine the H/X pipe gains were marginal

They do. Resonator is an H-pipe.

Thanks for the info. Which raises another question, if the std C63 has an H pipe, how much difference does the X pipe make?

Thanks for the information, I can see the logic now you have explained it. That raises another question why didn’t MB do that as part of the original exhaust design? I would have thought that the cost of incorporating a x pipe as part of the original exhaust system would have been negligible.

They did do it in the original exhaust as it has a small H pipe in the resonator.

I've received a recall letter to do with the airbag on my car.
Its all legit but I am not sure which dealership to go to to have the work done.
I'm in Harrow, HA postcode, anyone on here recommend a dealer as I suspect this I want to ensure the work is documented.
